Jaxon's Belly Book weeks 32-36 . personal

I'm trying to stay on top of these as much as I can here on the blog so with all the craziness that is going on this month I wanted to go ahead and post what I have now in case I don't get to blog the rest of my pregnancy until after he's here and things are settled down. I can't believe Jaxon will be here this month and could actually come any day now! Hopefully he waits until after my last session next week though but anytime after that sounds great. He's measuring 10 days early and is already weighing about the same as Keeley's birth weight so hopefully he'll come sooner than later. Anyways here are my photos from the past couple of weeks

wk32. I had the wedding in Georgia which was a lot of fun! It was interesting being so big and photographing a wedding but everyone was so sweet and the wedding was amazing so I would do it again in a heartbeat :)


wk33. I photographed a baptism the day this photo was taken and realized I hadn't gotten an overhead shot in a while, plus I wanted to show off my Kelly Moore bag :P


wk34. this is a 2 photo week, we took Keeley to the aquarium in Charleston for Easter which was a lot of fun. I haven't taken any photos like this of Drew and I for a while (which is crazy because it used to be an every day thing) and then I loved this photo of Keeley giving brother a hug

wk36. I finished Jaxon's quilt this past weekend and have been so proud of it I want to show it off to everyone :P


I'm excited to have the lovely Katie from Kathleen Amelia photograph Jaxon and I again this weekend so I'm sure I'll have lots of photos to show you from that session :) I love working with Katie she is so much fun and always down for my crazy ideas, she gets me :P

Jaxon's Belly Book weeks 24-31 . personal

I'm way behind on these so here I go
Wk 24 I ended up getting the Belly Book for Jaxon since I did it with Keeley luckily I've sort of kept up with belly photos since 14wks


wk25, it was Valentines day week and Osceola wanted to get in on the photo action


wk26 . we went and took Keeley's 2 year photos this week so Drew snapped this one for me :)


wk27. Keeley's 2nd birthday party and Jaxon's sprinkle in Beaufort was this week

Jaxon's Belly Book weeks 17-23 . personal

I'm slacking on blogging these so here we go
wk 17. Christmas was this week and Keeley got lots of toys but so did Jaxon :)


wk18. between his godmommy Stacey and me we've already started filling Jaxon's closet


wk19. We went to New Bern NC to hang out with Rachael (of Rach Lea Photography) and she took this awesome photo of my belly while we were out having fun with her lensbaby :)


wk20. guess who we were rooting for in the playoffs


wk21. we had our big ultrasound at the Naval Hospital, Jaxon is measuring in the 75th precentile so it seems like he's going to be like his dad. They unofficially moved up my due date to May 24th but we're still going to play maternity leave by ear


wk22. I made Jaxon's bedding because I wanted something no one else really had and something that would go along with his room, this photo is missing his crib skirt but I'm sure I'll have more photos later :)


wk23. Keeley was playing with her Yo Gabba Gabba toys and I wanted to see if Jaxon would kick things off my tummy like Keeley did, well he does which made this photo horribly difficult, I had the camera way over my head to get Brobee in focus and then trying to keep him sitting up


I'll try to keep up with these blogs better from now on, I'll be 6 months pregnant tomorrow, I'm so excited for May to get here so we can meet this lil guy!

Jaxon's Belly Book week 16 . personal

This might seem silly but I'm keeping a lot of whats going into Jaxon's room and the design of his album a secret til it's all done and he's here pretty much, so this photo isn't the actual week 16 photo that is going in the album that is a secret but it does have a lot to do with this week. I bought this table almost 5 years ago in North Carolina at this gun show we used to go to all the time with my parents, they would have this huge flea market thing going on outside of the gun show so my mother, aunt and I would always shop there while my dad and uncle were at the gun show part. I love this table it has a glass topper and you can put things underneath the glass to personalize it. When I got it, it was a cream color which looking back I should have left it that color but instead I decided to give it a really bad paint job and paint it black... ick. We moved it here to Beaufort when we PCS'd here and it was in our living/dinning area for a long time. I attempted to strip it a year or so ago with no real luck so my parents took it back to Gretna. When we found out I was pregnant again I immediately knew how I wanted to style the nursery no matter the sex and I knew I wanted this table in there so we brought it back with us the last time we went home and I just started working on it this week. I tried priming it but my first horrible paint job and attempted strip has made it horribly un-even so now it's in the process of being re stripped and I'm waiting on my parents to come down and help me hopefully finish it around Christmas. I had plans to re paint it to match a piece already in the room but the wood color is so pretty I'm kinda wanting to leave it if we can get all the paint off which I don't see happening. So it will be getting a new nice coat of paint and new hardware and I'm searching for artwork to go under the glass and well as on the walls. Etsy seriously should have a baby registry because the amount of things I want from there for his room is crazy. I am doing his bedding and mobile myself and some of the art work is awesome and I just don't have the letter pressing capabilities. I think I've blabbed on enough about the nursery, sorry :)

We're having a little boy! For my birthday my husband agreed to let us do the gender scan like we did with Keeley (because what we do with one we have to do for the other). I was nervous going in, I have no idea why but I was, luckily the baby showed his goods first thing and it was clear as day he's a boy. Drew is over the moon, I'm excited to have one of each and Keeley just knows we keep talking about a baby, I don't think she understands quite yet. Now I'm on this I have to get everything for the nursery ready now, I already bought the letters to go above his bed, I have 10 tabs pulled up of fabric to do his bedding in and when I found out I was prego I drew up a mock up of the nursery to be gender neutral, I love to decorate what can I say. Also I've been meaning to update with the photos I'm doing for Jaxon's belly book but I think I might start from here and go. So here is wk 15 :)
